Source Canada Conference Returns to Connect Startups with Government Buyers
The Source Canada conference is returning to help bridge the gap between Canadian technology startups and large-scale buyers. This one-day event focuses on creating direct connections between innovative new companies and representatives from both the government and private enterprise sectors.
This year’s conference features two specialized tracks: defence and deep tech. By focusing on these specific areas, the organizers aim to address the unique needs of national security and advanced scientific research. These sectors are currently high priorities for Canadian economic and technological growth.
The event provides a platform for startups to showcase their products and services through a series of workshops and meetings. These sessions are designed to help business owners understand how to navigate the complex procurement processes required to work with government agencies and large corporations.
For many Canadian startups, accessing these large contracts can be difficult due to strict requirements and long approval timelines. Source Canada acts as a facilitator, offering a space where entrepreneurs can meet decision-makers face-to-face to discuss potential partnerships and future collaborations.
By fostering these relationships, the conference hopes to strengthen the domestic tech ecosystem. As Canada continues to invest in local innovation, events like this play a vital role in ensuring that homegrown technology can successfully support the country’s national interests and industrial needs.
