Mauricio Lizcano denounces lack of guarantees in the final stretch of the presidential campaign
Presidential candidate Mauricio Lizcano has expressed his concern regarding the progress of the current elections. In a recent interview, the politician stated that the State is not providing the necessary conditions for all aspirants to compete fairly and safely. These statements come at a critical moment, just before the voting takes place.
The interview was conducted by Andrés Mompotes, director of the newspaper EL TIEMPO. During the conversation, Lizcano analyzed the challenges his campaign team faces in this decisive stage. According to the candidate, the lack of institutional support makes it difficult to organize events and have direct contact with citizens in different regions of the country.
One of the main points of his complaint is security. Lizcano pointed out that equity among participants is fundamental for a healthy democratic process. However, he considers that current institutions are not fulfilling their duty to protect all candidates equally, which generates uncertainty in the political environment.
Currently, the electoral contest is in its final phase. Candidates are intensifying their activities and speeches to convince undecided voters. In this context, complaints about transparency and electoral logistics have increased, becoming a central topic of national debate.
Finally, the debate over electoral transparency remains a priority for public opinion. Lizcano's words put the focus on the State's responsibility to ensure an environment free of risks. Citizens expect authorities to respond to these concerns to guarantee that election day proceeds normally and with respect for democracy.
