Governor of Valle Demands Respect for a Hospital Ship in Chocó
The governor of the department of Valle del Cauca, Dilian Francisca Toro, has expressed her strong rejection of the recent harassment against a hospital ship in the Chocó region. This ship has the important mission of bringing health services and basic care to the most remote and needy communities of the Colombian Pacific.
During the incident, the presence of armed groups endangered the lives of the medical personnel and the patients who were on board.
