Czech company introduces unique anti-drone system
The Czech defense industry has achieved a significant success. A domestic company has developed a new anti-drone system called Murmus, which is designed to effectively counter modern threats on the battlefield, including swarms of Shahed-type attack drones.
The Murmus system is unique primarily for its mobility and modularity. It is the first complete solution of its kind to be entirely designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic. Thanks to its design, it can be easily transported and rapidly deployed wherever it is needed.
The technology works on the principle of detection and subsequent elimination of unmanned aerial vehicles. Given the increasing use of inexpensive drones in current conflicts, this system represents an important tool for protecting critical infrastructure and military units from aerial attacks.
The development of this system confirms the high level of Czech engineers in the field of defense technology. Murmus is currently undergoing testing, and it is expected that it could strengthen the defensive capabilities not only of the Czech army but could also find application in the international market.
