According to experts from the NATO accelerator, which focuses on supporting innovative companies, many opportunities remain untapped, even in cases where these technologies are available completely free of charge.
The main task of the accelerator is to seek out promising startups and help them connect with the international defense ecosystem. The organization actively strives to present these firms at foreign exhibitions and professional events, where they can establish important contacts and gain access to new markets. Nevertheless, it seems that the connection between the Czech innovation environment and defense needs is still not sufficiently effective.
The problem may lie in a lack of awareness or complex administrative processes that hinder the rapid implementation of modern solutions in practice. While cooperation between the military and technology companies is a common part of security development abroad, this process still encounters certain obstacles in the Czech environment.
