Czech Team CZERT EMT 1: Top-tier Emergency Assistance
University Hospital Brno has introduced its specialized team called the Czech Emergency Response Team, or CZERT EMT 1 for short. This team is prepared to provide rapid and expert medical assistance in crisis situations, both within the Czech Republic and abroad, in the event of a large-scale disaster.
The unit consists of highly qualified experts from various medical fields. The team's main specializations include surgery and traumatology, which are crucial for treating injured persons. In addition, the team includes physicians focused on internal medicine, allowing for comprehensive care for patients with various health issues.
The team also includes experts in gynecology and obstetrics, ensuring safety for pregnant women and newborns even in challenging conditions. An important component is also pediatrics, i.e., care for children, and intensive care medicine for patients in critical condition who require constant monitoring and life support.
The existence of such a team increases the Czech Republic's preparedness for dealing with unexpected events. Thanks to its wide range of expertise, CZERT EMT 1 is capable of operating independently in the field and providing high-level care to all those who will need it most during moments of crisis.
