Czech Companies Have an Opportunity in Africa: Registration for the E-mobility Forum in Ethiopia Is Open
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has announced the opening of registration for a major business event in Africa. In April 2026, a forum focused on e-mobility and cooperation between the European Union and Ethiopia will take place in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. This event offers Czech entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to expand into new markets.
The program of the entire forum is based on the European Global Gateway initiative. This initiative focuses primarily on digital transformation and the development of clean energy. The goal is to support modern technologies and build high-quality infrastructure that is environmentally friendly. For Czech technology companies, this is an ideal space for sharing experiences.
Special attention will be given specifically to e-mobility, i.e., transport using electric energy. Czech companies that manufacture electric vehicles, batteries, or charging stations can find important business partners in Ethiopia. The event will allow for direct negotiations with local representatives and investors, which may facilitate entry into the African continent.
Those interested in participating in this forum can register now through the ministry's official channels. According to experts, strengthening economic relations with African countries is key to the future growth of Czech exports. The forum in Addis Ababa thus represents an important step toward international cooperation in the field of modern and sustainable technologies.
