How is the media world changing? Experts discussed the future of advertising and audiences
A significant meeting called the Czech Internet Forum recently took place in Prague. This event focused on the current transformations of the media market, which are affecting not only large media houses but also brands and the way they communicate with customers.
New audience habits were the main theme of the conference. Experts agreed that people today consume content in a completely different way than they did a few years ago. It is therefore increasingly important for media to offer content in various formats and on different platforms simultaneously, a trend known as omnichannel.
Great attention was also paid to CTV technology, i.e., the connection of television with the internet. This modern way of watching content opens up new possibilities for companies to target their advertising campaigns more effectively. Brands must therefore learn to work with new data and technologies to be able to reach viewers, who are increasingly preferring digital broadcasting over traditional television.
The conference showed that the media environment is undergoing a rapid transformation. To be successful today, it is no longer enough to just have quality content; it is necessary to understand where and how viewers are looking for it. For Czech companies and media organizations, it is therefore crucial to adapt to these changes quickly.
