Czech Republic faces frequent cyberattacks from abroad
In its latest report, the Security Information Service (BIS) warns that the Czech Republic has long been a target of cyberattacks. These activities are primarily aimed at obtaining sensitive information and espionage within state institutions.
According to the report, the main target of the attackers is Czech diplomacy. The attacks are often highly sophisticated, and many of them are backed by state actors from China and Russia. These attackers attempt to infiltrate the state's internal systems to gain access to important documents and strategic plans.
Cybersecurity is thus becoming one of the Czech government's priorities. Experts point out that digital threats are becoming increasingly frequent and attackers are constantly refining their methods. Therefore, the state must invest in modern technologies and staff training to be better able to counter these attacks.
The situation in cyberspace reflects the overall security situation in the world. The Czech Republic is cooperating with its allies within the European Union and NATO to share information about new threats and strengthen its defense against these invisible but dangerous attacks.
