Czech company introduces unique system capable of neutralizing drone swarms
The Czech defense industry has achieved a significant success in the field of modern technology. A domestic company has developed a new anti-drone system called Murmus, which is designed to counter even large-scale attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles, such as Iranian Shahed-type drones.
The Murmus system is exceptional primarily for its mobility and modularity. It is the first complete solution of its kind to be entirely designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic. Thanks to its design, the system can be easily transported and rapidly deployed wherever it is needed to protect critical infrastructure or military targets.
The main advantage of this device is its ability to react to so-called drone swarms. In current conflicts, attacks are increasingly occurring where an aggressor launches dozens of cheap drones at once to overwhelm enemy defenses. Murmus is capable of identifying and effectively eliminating these threats, making it an important element for modern air defense.
The development of this system confirms that Czech companies are among the world leaders in innovation for the security sector. The new technology is now undergoing further testing to ensure its maximum reliability in active service. Interest in the system has already been shown not only by domestic experts but also by foreign partners who are seeking effective protection against modern aerial threats.
