Watch out for the weather: Strong storms to hit the Czech Republic, meteorologists have issued a warning
The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) has issued an important warning for the residents of the Czech Republic. According to current forecasts, very strong storms are heading toward our territory, which may pose a danger to health and property.
The warning currently applies to a total of seven regions. Meteorologists warn that storm activity will be very intense and may cause complications in traffic and daily life. People should therefore monitor the current development of the situation and be prepared for a sudden change in weather.
The main risks are primarily wind gusts, which may reach speeds of 70 to 100 kilometers per hour. In addition to strong winds, people must also prepare for the occurrence of hail. These phenomena can cause damage to buildings, automobiles, or gardens.
Experts recommend securing loose objects on balconies and terraces that could be blown away by the wind. During a storm, it is also safer to stay at home and avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary. If you are caught outside during a storm, seek safe shelter and avoid tall trees or open areas.
