Czech companies face a record number of cyberattacks
The Czech Republic is currently grappling with a significant rise in digital crime. According to the latest data, domestic companies faced an average of nearly three thousand cyberattacks every week during June. These figures place the Czech Republic in an unflattering second place across the entire European continent.
Statistics show that threats in cyberspace are becoming increasingly frequent. Compared to the same period last year, the number of attacks has risen by a full thirty-five percent. This trend indicates that attackers are targeting Czech entities with increasing intensity and using more sophisticated methods to breach corporate networks.
Security experts warn that the attackers' most frequent targets are sensitive data, financial resources, or attempts to disrupt company operations. The attacks spare neither large corporations nor smaller businesses, which often underestimate the basic rules of digital protection. The rapid increase in incidents thus presents a serious challenge for Czech business and state institutions alike.
The situation in the field of cybersecurity remains tense and requires increased attention. Companies should invest in modern protection systems and regularly train their employees to recognize suspicious activities in time. Security experts agree that prevention is currently the most effective tool in the fight against these digital threats.
