Czech scientists are improving methods for more accurate disease diagnosis
The National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ) has published the results of its 2025 research, which focuses on modern laboratory technologies. The main goal of the experts was to improve the so-called digital PCR method, which allows for highly precise analysis of genetic material.
This technology plays a key role in the discovery and detection of specific gene variants. Thanks to these findings, doctors will be able to better identify the risks of various diseases in patients in the future. The research has great potential for use in routine clinical practice, where the speed and accuracy of diagnosis are essential.
The results of the Czech scientists' work were published in a prestigious international professional journal. This confirms the high level of Czech science and its involvement in global development in the field of molecular biology and medicine.
For the public, this means hope for higher quality and more targeted healthcare. The new methods will allow doctors to better understand the genetic causes of diseases and subsequently choose more appropriate treatment for each individual patient.
SZÚ plans to continue its research in the coming years. The goal is for these advanced laboratory procedures to become a standard part of diagnostic centers throughout the Czech Republic.
