Czech Team CZERT EMT 1: Top-tier assistance in crisis situations
University Hospital Brno has introduced its specialized team called the Czech Emergency Response Team (CZERT) EMT 1. This team is prepared to provide expert medical assistance in locations where emergencies or natural disasters have occurred, both within the Czech Republic and abroad.
The unit focuses on a wide spectrum of medical fields. The team consists of experienced professionals specializing in surgery and traumatology, which is crucial for treating injuries following accidents. Furthermore, the team possesses experts in internal medicine who address the acute health issues of patients in the field.
The team also includes specialists in gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatrics. This specialization allows the team to provide safe care to women and children, who are often the most vulnerable group in crisis situations. Everything is complemented by intensive care medicine, which ensures the treatment of patients in critical condition.
The goal of the CZERT EMT 1 project is to create a mobile medical facility capable of operating independently of surrounding conditions. Thanks to its equipment and qualified personnel, the team is prepared to intervene quickly and effectively where it is needed most, saving human lives in challenging conditions.
