Czech company develops new drone protection system
A new comprehensive system called Murmus, designed for defense against unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, has been introduced in the Czech Republic. This system was developed by the Czech company Czechia Systems, which is part of the S-Tech group based in Rokycany.
The Murmus system is designed to be mobile and modular. This means it can be easily relocated to different sites and adapted to the specific needs of the user. Its primary task is to detect and subsequently neutralize drones that could pose a security threat to critical infrastructure or military facilities.
There is already significant interest in this Czech technology abroad. The first units of the Murmus system will head to customers in the Middle East. Exports to this region confirm that Czech defense technologies have a good reputation globally and are capable of competing with major international manufacturers.
The development of this system is a response to the global increase in the use of drones in conflicts and security breaches. Thanks to its flexibility and modern technical solution, Murmus represents a significant contribution by the Czech industry to ensuring security in today's world.
