The Czech Republic has a problem with the use of modern technologies in defense
The Czech Republic is currently unable to effectively utilize new technologies in the field of defense. According to the head of a major NATO accelerator that focuses on supporting innovation, the state is not even taking advantage of opportunities that are available completely free of charge.
The problem lies primarily in connecting innovative companies with the state's security forces. The NATO accelerator is trying to help Czech startups by finding them a path into the international ecosystem. Thanks to this, companies gain the opportunity to present their projects at foreign exhibitions and professional events.
Despite this support, however, the Czech defense sector is encountering barriers in communication and the implementation of new solutions in practice. Experts point out that state institutions are often not prepared for the rapid adoption of modern technologies, which can be a disadvantage in today's security situation.
Representatives of the accelerator emphasize that closer cooperation between the private sector, the military, and the state administration is necessary for success. If these processes can be simplified, Czech companies can offer the world cutting-edge solutions that will strengthen not only domestic defense but also collective defense within NATO.
