Czech company develops new technology to combat drones
The Czech company Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has introduced an innovative system called Murmus, which is designed for defense against unmanned aerial vehicle attacks. This new development allows soldiers to effectively engage drones using standard assault rifles already in their inventory.
The Murmus system utilizes special anti-drone ammunition. This significantly increases the chances of destroying small, fast-moving targets, which are an increasingly common threat in current conflicts. The primary advantage of this solution is its practicality, as soldiers do not need to use expensive and complex anti-aircraft systems.
However, experts point out that European armies are not yet fully prepared for the mass adoption of such technologies. Although the Czech invention is technically advanced, its implementation into practice requires adjustments in logistics and soldier training across Europe.
The development of this system demonstrates that the Czech defense industry plays an important role in the field of modern technology. Several foreign entities, seeking cheap and effective ways to defend against modern aerial threats, have already expressed interest in the new ammunition.
