New political movement 'Naše Česko' focuses on South Bohemia
A new movement called Naše Česko (Our Czechia) has appeared on the Czech political scene. Its founder and main leader is Martin Kuba, who has decided to focus his campaign primarily on his home region.
Out of the total of 86 candidates that the movement has introduced for the upcoming elections, almost half come from South Bohemia. This move shows that the movement wants to leverage the strong position of its leader in this specific region, where Martin Kuba is well known.
However, political scientists and election experts are approaching the new entity's ambitions with caution. According to their analyses, it is not very likely that the movement will achieve nationwide success, as its support is currently very narrowly tied to one region.
