Czech team CZERT EMT 1: Top-tier assistance in crisis situations
University Hospital Brno has introduced its specialized team called the Czech Emergency Response Team, abbreviated as CZERT EMT 1. This team is prepared to provide rapid and expert medical assistance in locations where extraordinary events or natural disasters have occurred.
The unit consists of highly qualified experts from various medical fields. It includes experienced surgeons and traumatologists who are capable of treating serious injuries directly in the field. The team is equipped to handle even demanding surgeries and acute procedures outside of a hospital environment.
In addition to surgery, CZERT EMT 1 also focuses on internal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics. The team also possesses pediatricians who specialize in the care of children, as well as experts in intensive care medicine. This wide range of expertise allows the team to respond to the diverse health needs of patients in crisis areas.
The goal of this project is to increase the Czech Republic's preparedness for handling crisis situations, both domestically and abroad. Thanks to its complexity and professionalism, the CZERT EMT 1 team represents an important link in the system of crisis management and humanitarian aid.
