Czech companies receive European support for the development of modern defense technologies
The Czech Republic is actively participating in European initiatives aimed at strengthening security and technological independence. Thanks to European Union programs named STEP and EDF, domestic companies are receiving funding for research and development in the defense industry.
The goal of these programs is to support innovation and ensure that Europe is not dependent on suppliers from other parts of the world for key technologies. Czech firms thus have a unique opportunity to collaborate on international projects that bring modern solutions to security forces.
Participation in these programs means not only a financial injection for Czech enterprises, but also the opportunity to share experience with partners from across the European Union. The development of new technologies in the Czech Republic focuses on areas that are crucial for the current defense of states, such as advanced communication systems or digital security.
Support for the defense industry is currently seen as a strategic priority. Thanks to European subsidies, the Czech defense sector is becoming more competitive and better prepared for future challenges brought about by the rapidly changing global security situation.
