Czech company develops new drone protection system
A new comprehensive system called Murmus, designed for defense against unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, has been introduced in the Czech Republic. This mobile and modular system was developed by the Czech company Czechia Systems, which is part of the S-Tech group based in Rokycany.
The Murmus system is designed to effectively detect and subsequently neutralize drones that may pose a security risk. Thanks to its modular design, the equipment can be easily adapted to different conditions and user needs, making it a flexible solution for modern defense.
The development of this technology responds to the growing global demand for means to counter aerial threats. Given the more frequent use of drones in conflicts and for the protection of strategic facilities, effective anti-drone defense is an increasingly important topic in the field of security.
The first units of this system will soon be heading to customers. Czechia Systems confirmed that the first deliveries of the new equipment will go to countries in the Middle East, where there has been interest in this type of defense technology.
The success of Czech development on the international market confirms the high standard of the domestic defense industry. The Murmus system thus represents another example of an innovative Czech solution finding application in ensuring security abroad.
