Czech company develops new anti-drone ammunition
The Czech company Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has introduced an innovative anti-drone system called Murmus. This new development is intended to enable soldiers to effectively defend against small unmanned aerial vehicles, which have become a significant threat on the modern battlefield in recent years.
The main advantage of the Murmus system is its practicality. The ammunition is designed to be used in standard assault rifles that soldiers already carry. As a result, units do not need to carry heavy and complex anti-aircraft equipment to defend themselves against drone attacks.
The development of this system responds to the current needs of armies around the world. Drones are cheap and easily accessible, making them a dangerous tool in conflicts. The Czech system thus offers a quick and affordable solution for neutralizing these machines directly in the field within seconds.
Despite this progress, experts point out that European armies are not yet fully prepared for the mass use of such technologies. Integrating new systems into existing military structures requires time, soldier training, and a change in combat tactics.
The Czech defense industry thus once again confirms its ability to respond to modern security challenges. The Murmus system represents an important step toward strengthening the defense capabilities of not only the Czech army but also other allies within NATO.
