Prominent Czech entrepreneurs discuss their responsibility for the country's future
Forbes Czech Republic recently approached several influential figures in Czech business with an important question. Entrepreneurs such as Michal Jakimič, Zdeněk Fait, and Radek Wichterle answered whether they feel a personal responsibility for improving the situation in the Czech Republic.
This debate focuses on the role of people who possess significant wealth or have influence over the functioning of society. The goal of the project is to determine how these leaders perceive their contribution to the state and whether they strive to actively influence public affairs outside of their own companies.
In the interviews, the entrepreneurs agree that business success brings with it a certain commitment to society. Many of them are already involved in philanthropic projects, supporting education or investing in innovations aimed at moving the Czech Republic forward.
The discussion about corporate social responsibility is an increasingly relevant topic in the Czech Republic. The public increasingly expects successful people not to think only about their own profit, but to actively participate in solving the problems the country is facing.
Forbes' entire project thus opens up space for an important dialogue between business and the general public. It shows that the future of the Czech Republic is not only in the hands of politicians, but also depends on the approach of those who have the means to change things for the better.
