Czech Republic and Ethiopia strengthen cooperation: Registration for business forum is now open
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has announced the opening of registration for an upcoming business forum to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event, titled the CZ-ET e-mobility Business Forum and EU–Ethiopia Business Forum, will take place from April 20 to 22, 2026, and will focus on deepening trade relations between Czech companies and the Ethiopian market.
The main goal of the forum is to support innovation and sustainable technologies. The event program is based on the European Global Gateway initiative, which aims to develop infrastructure and modernize economies in partner countries. Participants will focus primarily on the areas of digital transformation, clean energy, and the development of electromobility.
For Czech entrepreneurs, this event represents a significant opportunity to establish new contacts and showcase Czech technologies in the African region. The forum will allow for direct discussion between representatives of state administration, investors, and experts from both countries, which may lead to future joint projects in the field of environmentally friendly transport.
Interested parties from Czech companies can register through the official channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event highlights the Czech Republic's effort to actively engage in global projects that connect European experience with the needs of emerging markets in Africa.
