Czech company develops new drone protection system
A new comprehensive drone protection system called Murmus has been introduced in the Czech Republic. Its development was led by the Czech company Czechia Systems, which is part of the S-Tech group. The system is designed to be mobile and modular, meaning it can be easily adapted to different conditions and user needs.
Murmus technology is used for the detection and subsequent elimination of drones that may pose a security threat. Thanks to its mobility, the system can be quickly deployed in various locations, which is a very important feature at a time when the popularity of drones is growing. The developers from Rokycany focused on ensuring the system is effective not only in urban environments but also in open terrain.
The first units of this innovative device have already found a buyer. Czechia Systems announced that the first shipments of the Murmus system will head to countries in the Middle East. This export confirms the high level of the Czech defense industry and the ability of domestic companies to develop modern technologies that succeed even in demanding international markets.
Drone protection has become a global topic in recent years. Countries around the world are looking for ways to ensure the security of critical infrastructure, airports, or military facilities against unwanted drones. The Czech Murmus project thus represents a significant contribution to addressing these security challenges.
