Czech company introduces unique system for countering attack drones
The Czech defense industry has achieved a significant success. A domestic company has developed a new anti-drone system called Murmus, which is designed to effectively counter modern battlefield threats, including swarms of Shahed-type attack drones.
The Murmus system is exceptional in that it is the first completely mobile and modular solution of its kind to be entirely designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic. Thanks to its design, it can be easily transported and rapidly deployed in various terrains, increasing its flexibility in protecting strategic targets or military units.
The technology works on the principle of detecting and subsequently eliminating unmanned aerial vehicles. Given the increasing use of cheap but dangerous drones in current conflicts, this system represents an important element of modern air defense that could be crucial for security forces.
The development of this system confirms the high level of Czech engineers in the field of military technology. It is expected that Murmus will attract interest not only from the Czech military but also from foreign partners who are looking for reliable and mobile ways to defend against increasingly frequent drone attacks.
