Czech cycling race Czech Tour faces a historic move up the international rankings
The most significant Czech stage cycling race, the Czech Tour, has reached a major milestone. For the first time in its history, the race has broken into the second-highest category of the International Cycling Union, the UCI ProSeries. This achievement confirms the growing prestige of the Czech sporting event at the European level.
Inclusion in the UCI ProSeries brings both new challenges and opportunities for the organizers. The race must now comply with stricter rules and higher demands regarding the quality of organization. At the same time, it is expected that this change will attract even stronger competition and top-tier world teams to Czech roads.
With the new stage of the race come changes in partnerships as well. The renowned Italian brand ALÉ has become the new official supplier of jerseys for the leaders of the individual categories. This collaboration underscores the organizers' efforts to modernize and elevate the visual standard of the entire event.
For cycling fans in the Czech Republic, this is positive news that promises a more attractive spectacle. The organizers believe that thanks to the new classification, the Czech Tour will become a permanent fixture in the calendars of the world's best cyclists and will help to further promote the sport domestically.
