Quito to have scheduled power outages this Sunday, June 7, for maintenance
The city of Quito is preparing for a series of scheduled power outages this Sunday, June 7. According to information provided by the electrical authorities, these interruptions are necessary to carry out maintenance work on the power grid of the Ecuadorian capital.
The main objective of these works is to improve the electrical infrastructure and prevent future failures in the system. The companies in charge have explained that preventive maintenance is essential to guarantee a stable and safe service for all the city's citizens.
Although not all specific neighborhoods have been detailed in the initial statement, residents of the different sectors are recommended to stay tuned to the schedules. It is important for people to disconnect their sensitive electronic devices before the outages to avoid potential damage from voltage fluctuations.
Authorities suggest that the population organize their daily activities considering these interruptions. It is recommended to charge mobile phones and other electronic devices in advance, as well as to avoid opening the refrigerator constantly to maintain food temperature.
To receive updated information and find out the exact sectors affected, citizens can follow official communication channels. Local media and institutional social networks will be reporting in real-time on the progress of the work and the restoration of the electrical service.
