Important Notice for Giza Residents: Water Supply Interruption in Certain Areas Due to Maintenance Work
Giza Governorate has announced a plan to interrupt the water supply in several residential areas to conduct maintenance and connect the governorate's main water lines. This measure is part of the relevant authorities' commitment to improving the efficiency of water networks and ensuring better service delivery for all citizens.
The Giza Water Company explained that the water interruption is due to the connection of a new 1000 mm diameter water line with another 300 mm diameter line on Bahgat El-Shourbagy Street. These works are part of an infrastructure development plan aimed at reducing future malfunctions and increasing water pressure in the affected areas.
The governorate has urged citizens, as well as bakery and hospital owners in the affected areas, to secure their water needs during the interruption period. The company also confirmed that it will provide potable water tankers in areas that may experience severe shortages, and citizens can request them via the company's dedicated hotline.
In another context, the Egyptian educational scene has witnessed a new achievement, as the University of Sadat City won three awards at the Enactus Egypt national competition finals. The awards included the title of Best Team Leader among Egyptian universities, reflecting the excellence of Egyptian students in the fields of entrepreneurship and social innovation.
