Egyptian-Chinese cooperation to develop modern irrigation systems in Egypt
The Egyptian company "Daltex," one of the largest companies operating in the field of agricultural production and crop export, announced the signing of a new cooperation agreement with the Chinese company "Irritec," which specializes in irrigation technology.
This partnership aims to introduce modern and advanced technologies into irrigation systems within Egypt, in addition to expanding into other markets such as Algeria and Libya. This step is considered part of the company's efforts to enhance the efficiency of agricultural production using the latest technological means.
Through this cooperation, the company seeks to provide innovative solutions that help farmers rationalize water consumption, which is vital in light of the water challenges facing the region. These technologies also contribute to increasing the quality of Egyptian agricultural crops to be more competitive in global markets.
This cooperation comes within the framework of a broader Egyptian plan to develop the agricultural sector, as the state relies on international partnerships to bring in advanced technology that supports food security and increases the volume of Egyptian agricultural exports abroad.
It is expected that the implementation of these technical solutions will begin in the company's farms soon, reflecting the interest of Egyptian companies in investing in sustainable technology to ensure a better future for agriculture in Egypt.
