New Solar Energy Project in Beni Suef to Support Sustainability in Egypt
Titan Cement Egypt has announced the signing of a long-term agreement with SolarizEgypt to establish a solar power generation plant in Beni Suef Governorate.
The new plant will have a capacity of 11.45 megawatts and is expected to provide a significant portion of the electricity needs for the Beni Suef cement plant. This step comes as part of the company's efforts to reduce reliance on traditional energy sources and transition toward clean energy.
This agreement is part of Egypt's national strategy to increase reliance on renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions in the industrial sector. The project aims to enhance energy consumption efficiency in major factories, supporting the country's shift toward a "green economy."
Work on the plant is expected to begin soon, as this partnership will provide sustainable energy solutions that align with Egypt's Vision 2030. This initiative is a positive step toward developing energy infrastructure in Upper Egypt.
