Prime Minister follows up on the achievements of the General Authority for Healthcare in Egypt
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, reviewed a detailed report on the most important results and achievements made by the General Authority for Healthcare during the past period. This came during a meeting held by the Prime Minister with Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Authority, to follow up on the progress of work in the healthcare system.
The report included a review of the medical services provided by the Authority to citizens in the governorates that have joined the comprehensive health insurance system. Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky confirmed that the Authority is constantly working to develop the quality of health services and provide the necessary medical care to patients in accordance with the latest international standards.
The meeting also discussed future steps to expand the scope of health coverage to include new governorates, as part of the Egyptian state's plan to improve the standard of living for citizens and provide excellent healthcare for all. The Chairman of the Authority pointed to the importance of using modern technology in managing hospitals and health centers to ensure the speed and efficiency of service delivery.
For his part, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly praised the efforts made by the Authority, stressing the need to continue providing full support to the health sector. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of overcoming any obstacles that may face the implementation of health projects, to ensure that medical services reach every citizen in all parts of the Republic.
