A New Egyptian Achievement: Sohag University Team Wins First Place in Innovation Competition
The "Enactus" team at Sohag University has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing first place in the "Orascom Innovation Competition," held as part of the 2026 Enactus Egypt National Competition.
This victory is a culmination of the efforts of Sohag University students in presenting innovative projects aimed at serving the community and developing practical solutions to economic and environmental challenges. The team received widespread praise from the judging panel, which included experts in the fields of entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
The Enactus competition is one of the most important platforms that support Egyptian youth in transforming their ideas into real-world projects. Through these initiatives, participating students strive to create new job opportunities and contribute to supporting the local economy through innovation.
This excellence reflects the ability of Egyptian youth in various regional universities to compete strongly in scientific and practical forums. It is expected that this win will motivate more students to participate in student activities that bridge the gap between academic study and the needs of the labor market.
It is worth noting that this achievement adds to Sohag University's record of success in national competitions, further strengthening the position of Egyptian universities in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among the younger generation.
