Egyptian Ministry of Education Launches New Plan to Develop Teacher Skills in Cooperation with International Universities
The Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education has announced the launch of new training programs aimed at developing the capabilities of teachers across the country during the current academic year. This step comes within the framework of the Ministry's strategy to improve the quality of education and develop curricula in line with modern standards.
These training programs rely on international cooperation with prestigious educational institutions, as the training is being implemented in collaboration with Harvard University in the United States and Hiroshima University in Japan. This cooperation aims to transfer global expertise in modern teaching methods and apply them within Egyptian classrooms.
The training focuses primarily on equipping teachers with critical thinking skills and educational technology methods, in addition to more effective ways of assessing students. A large number of teachers across various educational stages are scheduled to benefit from these programs, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of the educational process as a whole.
The Ministry emphasizes that developing teacher skills is the cornerstone of educational reform in Egypt. The impact of these training programs is expected to be reflected in student performance in schools in the coming period, as the state seeks to build an educational system that keeps pace with global developments and prepares students for the labor market.
