Supporting Women Entrepreneurs: A New Initiative Awards Cash Prizes to Three Startups
Standard Chartered Bank, in collaboration with the Saudi-based Falak Investment Hub, has concluded the fourth edition of the 'Women in Tech' program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This program aims to support and empower female entrepreneurs who own startups based on innovative technological solutions.
This edition witnessed strong competition among numerous projects submitted by ambitious female entrepreneurs. Following a rigorous evaluation of the participating projects, three outstanding startups were selected to receive cash prizes totaling 45,000 US dollars.
This initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the role of women in the technology and innovation sector in the Arab region. These awards provide financial and moral support that helps startups develop their products and expand their business scope in local and regional markets.
Organizers emphasize that investing in women-led companies contributes significantly to driving the digital economy. It is expected that these partnerships will continue to provide more training and funding opportunities to support female talent in the future.
This step is part of a broader trend in the Arab region to encourage technological entrepreneurship. The participating companies hope that these awards will inspire more women to enter the world of technology and provide innovative solutions to current economic challenges.
