A New Step to Support Youth: Collaboration Between the MSMEDA and 'Startup Egypt' Foundation
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) in Egypt has signed a new memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian foundation for startups and entrepreneurship, "Startup Egypt." This agreement aims to enhance the business environment in Egypt and provide greater support to young people with innovative ideas.
This partnership seeks to provide an integrated package of services for entrepreneurs, including mentoring, training, and facilitating access to the funding necessary to start their projects. This step comes within the framework of the state's ongoing efforts to encourage young people to enter the freelance market and establish their own companies.
Through this collaboration, startup owners will be able to obtain technical and administrative consultations that help them develop their businesses and increase their competitiveness in the local market. The initiative also aims to create new job opportunities for young people, which contributes positively to supporting the national economy.
This agreement is part of a broader strategy adopted by the Egyptian government to empower youth and overcome the obstacles facing small projects. It is expected that the two institutions will begin implementing joint programs during the coming period to ensure that support reaches the largest possible number of entrepreneurs in various governorates.
