Fund for Drug Control and Addiction Treatment Launches Training Camp for Student Leaders in Matrouh
The Fund for Drug Control and Addiction Treatment in Egypt has launched a new training camp in Matrouh Governorate. This camp aims to prepare and qualify student leaders from various Egyptian universities to participate in awareness programs regarding the dangers of drugs.
A large number of carefully selected student volunteers are participating in this program. During the camp, students receive practical and theoretical training on how to communicate with youth and use innovative methods to convey awareness messages within university campuses.
The camp also focuses on developing leadership skills among students and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Through this initiative, the Fund seeks to build a strong network of volunteers capable of positively influencing their peers and spreading a culture of health and social awareness.
This step is part of the Egyptian state's strategy to curb the spread of addiction among youth. Officials emphasize that the role of student volunteers is a fundamental pillar in the success of awareness campaigns, given their ability to reach their colleagues more effectively.
At the conclusion of the camp, outstanding students will be honored and assigned field tasks at their respective universities. These efforts are expected to contribute to reducing substance abuse rates and providing a safe and healthy university environment for all students across the various governorates.
