Minister of Health inaugurates the activities of the 'EGY HEALTH 2026' exhibition and conference to support the medical sector
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, inaugurated the sixth edition of the 'EGY HEALTH 2026' exhibition and conference, which is considered one of the most important medical events in Egypt and the Arab region.
During his tour of the exhibition, the Minister visited the 'Al-Fajr Medical' pavilion, where he reviewed the latest medical devices and supplies showcased by the company. The Minister emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors to develop health services in Egypt.
The conference aims this year to showcase the latest innovations in the field of healthcare and to exchange expertise between local and international companies. The event also seeks to attract new investments in the pharmaceutical and medical equipment sector, which contributes to improving the quality of care provided to citizens.
This event comes within the framework of the Egyptian state's continuous efforts to develop the healthcare system, localize the medical supplies industry to reduce reliance on imports, and provide hospitals and medical centers with the latest technologies.
At the conclusion of his tour, the Minister praised the remarkable development in the level of the participating companies, affirming that the Ministry supports all initiatives aimed at raising the efficiency of the medical sector in Egypt and providing an advanced work environment for medical staff to better serve patients.
