The Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit, launched the activities of the "Mediterranean Technical and Vocational Education Forum." This significant event was held in the New Administrative Capital, with the attendance of a number of officials and experts in the field of education.
The forum aims to enhance cooperation among Mediterranean basin countries in developing technical and vocational education. The Ministry emphasizes that this type of education is a fundamental pillar for achieving social and economic progress, as it contributes to preparing youth for the labor market and equipping them with the skills required in the modern era.
The discussions over the two days focused on exchanging expertise between Egypt, Italy, and the participating countries to develop curricula and train teachers. Attendees also discussed the importance of linking technical education to industrial needs, which helps create new job opportunities for youth and supports the national economy.
This forum comes within the framework of the Egyptian state's efforts to develop the technical education system and make it an attractive option for students. The Ministry hopes that these international partnerships will contribute to raising the efficiency of graduates and qualifying them to compete in regional and international markets.
At the conclusion of the events, participants emphasized the necessity of continued joint cooperation among Mediterranean countries. It is expected that this initiative will result in practical recommendations that contribute to improving the quality of technical education, which will benefit the future of coming generations in Egypt and the region.
