New Agricultural Project to Support 200,000 Farmers in Egypt Using Modern Technology
The Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has announced the launch of a new project titled "Agri-Tech for Egypt." This project aims to provide technical and financial support to more than 200,000 farmers across various governorates of the country, as part of the state's plan to develop the agricultural sector and achieve food security.
The project relies primarily on the use of innovative technological solutions to help farmers face difficult climatic challenges. Climate change directly affects crop quality, so the project seeks to provide modern tools that help farmers protect their crops and ensure continuous production throughout the year.
In addition to the technical aspect, the project focuses on reducing agricultural production costs. By using smart irrigation and farming methods, farmers will be able to reduce water and fertilizer consumption, which will ultimately lead to an increase in the quantity and quality of the crops produced.
