New Initiative to Support Small Farmers and Poultry Breeders in Beni Suef Governorate
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait - Egypt (ABK-Egypt) announced the signing of a new cooperation agreement with the Egyptian Food Bank. This partnership aims to provide support to small farmers and poultry breeders in Beni Suef Governorate, as part of the bank's corporate social responsibility efforts and rural community development in Egypt.
The initiative primarily focuses on improving farmers' productivity and providing them with the necessary resources and tools. Through this collaboration, farmers and poultry breeders in the region will receive specialized technical training to help them develop their small projects and increase their efficiency.
The project also aims to help these producers achieve a sustainable income, contributing to improving the standard of living for their families. This step is considered part of a comprehensive strategy to empower the most needy groups in Upper Egypt and provide them with real job opportunities.
Additionally, this initiative plays an important role in enhancing food security in Egypt. By supporting small producers, the project contributes to increasing the supply of agricultural and poultry products in local markets, which helps stabilize prices and provide healthy food for citizens.
In conclusion, this partnership reflects the importance of cooperation between banking institutions and non-governmental organizations to achieve sustainable development. This initiative is expected to leave a long-term positive impact on the local economy in Beni Suef Governorate, supporting the state's plans to develop the Egyptian countryside.
