Ministry of Local Development Launches New Initiative to Resolve Citizen Complaints in Governorates
The Egyptian Ministry of Local Development has announced the launch of a new system to monitor citizen complaints across all governorates, in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives on the necessity of direct communication with the people's needs and working to resolve them quickly and effectively.
This step comes within the framework of the government's commitment to improving public services and facilitating the daily lives of citizens. The initiative aims to establish clear communication channels between citizens and officials, ensuring that complaints reach the competent authorities as quickly as possible.
The Ministry emphasized that field teams will conduct periodic visits to centers and cities to monitor the workflow in citizen service offices. Modern technology will also be used to record complaints and track the stages of their resolution, ensuring transparency and fairness in handling all requests.
The initiative covers various areas of concern to the Egyptian citizen, such as sanitation services, building permits, and the connection of basic utilities like water and electricity. The Ministry invites citizens to engage with these new channels and report any problems they face in their areas of residence.
This initiative is part of the state's comprehensive plan to develop local administration and achieve sustainable development across the Republic. These efforts are expected to contribute to increasing the efficiency of government services and strengthening citizen trust in public institutions.
