The Egyptian Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade recently hosted the Egyptian-Finnish Business Forum, in the presence of the President of Finland and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister. This meeting aimed to discuss ways to strengthen economic relations and develop trade partnerships between the two countries in various fields.
The forum featured a review of a long history of fruitful cooperation, as Finnish companies operating in Egypt emphasized their continuous presence for more than 30 years. These companies have contributed to supporting many clients around the world, especially in the mobile phone manufacturing sector, which reflects the mutual trust in the Egyptian investment climate.
Discussions during the forum focused on the future of trade relations between Cairo and Helsinki, with an emphasis on exchanging technological and industrial expertise. Officials from both sides stressed the importance of these partnerships in driving economic development and creating new job opportunities for young people in Egypt.
This forum comes within the framework of the Egyptian government's efforts to attract more foreign investment and localize technological industries. It is expected that these meetings will contribute to opening new horizons for economic cooperation, serving the interests of both countries and enhancing Egypt's position as a regional hub for trade and investment.
