Egyptian Foreign Minister affirms Cairo's support for Syria's unity and sovereignty
Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty affirmed Egypt's firm position in support of the unity and sovereignty of Syrian territory. This came during an official meeting in which the Minister discussed the latest political and security developments currently taking place in the Arab region.
During the meeting, Minister Abdelatty stressed the necessity of maintaining the stability of the Syrian state, noting that the challenges facing the region require international and regional solidarity. He explained that Egypt places the security and stability of Arab countries at the forefront of its foreign policy priorities.
The meeting also addressed the importance of strengthening joint Arab action to confront current crises. Both sides emphasized the need for continuous coordination between Arab countries to ensure the protection of Arab national security from any external threats that might affect the stability of the region.
