Egypt Enhances the Future of Technological Education and Industrial and Agricultural Innovation
Egypt is currently witnessing a major transformation in the fields of technological education and industrial innovation. The Minister of Education and Technical Education inaugurated the fifth edition of the "EDU TECH EGYPT" forum in Cairo. This international forum aims to develop technical education and link it to the needs of the labor market, helping Egyptian youth find distinguished job opportunities in the fields of technology and vocational training.
As part of supporting youth skills, Elsewedy University of Technology (SUTech), in cooperation with local partners, launched new initiatives to increase awareness of artificial intelligence and sustainability. The university also organized "Polimi Week" events to promote digital innovation and energy automation. These steps aim to prepare a new generation of engineers and technicians capable of dealing with modern technological challenges with high efficiency.
In the agricultural sector, the Agricultural Research Center announced the launch of the "AgriTech4Egypt" project. This project targets supporting 200,000 Egyptian farmers by providing innovative solutions to face climate change, reduce agricultural costs, and increase productivity. This project reflects the state's interest in using technology to ensure food security and improve the income of farmers across various governorates.
On the industrial front, Egypt witnessed the launch of "Raedbots" as the first local factory for industrial robots. At the same time, Egyptian companies such as "Egico" succeeded in signing export contracts with five different countries during their participation in a specialized exhibition. Additionally, the New Administrative Capital hosted a technical education forum in cooperation with Italy, emphasizing the strength of international partnerships in developing human skills.
