New Agricultural Project to Support 200,000 Farmers in Egypt
The Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has announced the launch of a new project titled "Agri-Tech for Egypt." This project aims to provide technical and financial support to more than 200,000 farmers across various governorates of the country.
The project relies primarily on the use of innovative and modern solutions in the field of agriculture. Its organizers seek to assist farmers in facing the significant challenges posed by climate change, which directly impact crop quality and production volume.
In addition to addressing climate change, the project focuses on reducing agricultural production costs. By providing advanced agricultural technologies, experts expect to increase the productivity per feddan, which will benefit the Egyptian farmer and contribute to strengthening food security in the country.
This step comes within the framework of the state's efforts to develop the agricultural sector and rely on modern technology. The implementation phases of the project are expected to begin in the coming period, with practical training provided to farmers to ensure maximum benefit from these new technical solutions.
