New agricultural project to support 200,000 Egyptian farmers using modern technology
The Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has announced the launch of a new project titled "Agri-Tech for Egypt." This ambitious project aims to provide the necessary support to 200,000 Egyptian farmers across various governorates by offering innovative and advanced agricultural solutions.
The project focuses primarily on addressing the challenges posed by climate change to the agricultural sector in Egypt. Through the use of modern technological methods, experts seek to help farmers protect their crops from unstable weather conditions, thereby ensuring the continuity of agricultural production.
The project also aims to achieve tangible economic benefits for farmers, as it works to significantly reduce agricultural production costs. These steps are expected to lead to an increase in the quantity and quality of crops, which will enhance farmers' incomes and support food security in the country.
This initiative comes within the framework of the state's efforts to develop the agricultural sector and rely on scientific research to increase the efficiency of agricultural land. The project organizers hope that this collaboration will contribute to improving the standard of living for farmers and developing traditional farming methods to become more sustainable.
