New Spanish investments in Egypt: Opening of Konecta's regional headquarters in Cairo
The leading Spanish company "Konecta" has announced the opening of its new regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. This step is considered a significant achievement, as Konecta has become the first major Spanish company to choose Egypt as a primary hub for its operations in the region.
This move comes as part of the company's strategy to expand into emerging markets, with $100 million in investments allocated to support this project. The new headquarters is set to focus on providing advanced services in customer relationship management and digital services, further strengthening Egypt's position as a preferred investment destination for global companies.
In addition to the regional headquarters, the company announced the establishment of a "Global Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence" in Egypt. This center aims to develop innovative technical solutions using artificial intelligence technologies, which will contribute to creating new job opportunities for young Egyptians specializing in technology and programming fields.
This investment reflects the great confidence that international companies place in the Egyptian economy and the local business environment. It is expected that the presence of a center of this scale will enhance technological cooperation between Egypt and Spain, and open new horizons for the exchange of expertise in the digital services and artificial intelligence sectors.
