“Qaderoon Bekhtelaf” Fund launches a new program to integrate people with disabilities across 25 Egyptian governorates
The “Qaderoon Bekhtelaf” Fund recently announced the launch of the “Best Buddies Egypt” program across 25 governorates in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This national initiative aims to enhance the integration of people with disabilities into society and provide a supportive environment that ensures their effective participation in various activities.
The program focuses primarily on training volunteers and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to interact correctly with people with disabilities. Through these trainings, the initiative's organizers seek to empower volunteers to design and implement diverse awareness activities that reach various segments of society.
This step comes within the framework of the state's ongoing efforts to spread a culture of inclusion, as the program seeks to break down social barriers and change traditional perceptions toward people with disabilities. By expanding its scope to include 25 governorates, the Fund also aspires to ensure that services and awareness activities reach the largest possible number of citizens across the country.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy adopted by Egypt to support the rights of people with disabilities and provide them with a decent life. The program is expected to contribute to creating strong social bonds between volunteers and people with disabilities, thereby fostering values of solidarity and cooperation within Egyptian society.
