New agricultural project to support 200,000 farmers in Egypt
The Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has announced the launch of a new project titled "Agri-Tech for Egypt." This ambitious project aims to provide technical and financial support to 200,000 farmers across the various governorates of the country, as part of the state's efforts to develop the agricultural sector.
The project relies primarily on the use of innovative technological solutions to help farmers cope with climate change affecting crops. These technologies are an effective means of protecting agricultural land and ensuring continued production under difficult weather conditions.
The project also seeks to achieve two main goals for the Egyptian farmer: the first is to reduce agricultural production costs by rationalizing the use of resources, and the second is to increase the quantity and quality of the produced crops. This step is expected to contribute to improving the standard of living for farmers and supporting the national economy.
This initiative comes at a time when Egypt is seeking to strengthen its food security and develop traditional farming methods to become more sustainable. These technical solutions are expected to be implemented in the near future, reflecting the state's interest in supporting small-scale farmers and developing the Egyptian countryside.
